Syrah is our first love. We love the complexity that Syrah can achieve. Great fruit, leather, tannins, spice… Syrah can have it all. We believe that Eastern Washington is one of the best spots to grow Syrah in the country. Cool nights and warm days allow the fruit to reach ideal conditions for harvest.

We handle Syrah much like Pinot. Gently. We do not over oak the wine so you can savor the natural complexity. We generally bottle between 100-200 cases of Syrah after 18-24 months of aging in small French oak barrels (25-50% new oak).
